Our Story

Our story began in 2021 with a bold Instagram DM sent across 6,500 miles. What started as a simple message quickly became something neither of us expected. Despite a six‑hour time difference, we talked every single day — sharing stories, building inside jokes, and discovering how natural it felt to be ourselves with one another. Somewhere between the laughter and the late‑night conversations, a real connection began to grow.

Four months later, we finally met in person, but our journey was still very much shaped by distance. From 2021 to 2025, we navigated a long‑distance relationship spanning the US and the UK — learning patience, trust, and how to love intentionally across oceans. We counted down visits, cherished airport reunions, and made the most of every moment together. Distance challenged us, but it also strengthened us, teaching us how to choose each other even when being together wasn't easy.

Six years on, that first message has grown into a life filled with love, adventure, and memories made across four continents. Through every trip, every goodbye, and every joyful reunion, we've built something steady, deep, and lasting. We're so excited to celebrate the next chapter of our story with the people who have supported us along the way. Join us in Malta as we say "I do." We did it, Joe!

Travel & Stay

Welcome to Malta

Malta

We're so excited to celebrate our wedding in one of the Mediterranean's most enchanting destinations! Malta is a sun-soaked archipelago where ancient history meets crystal-clear waters, where honey-colored limestone cities cascade down to turquoise lagoons, and where 7,000 years of history come alive around every corner.

Fun Facts

  • Malta was awarded the George Cross for the bravery of its people during WWII — it's the only country with a gallantry award on its national flag!
  • Game of Thrones, Gladiator, and Troy were all filmed here! You can visit the actual filming locations, including King's Landing and the Azure Window site in Gozo.

Things to Do in Malta

01

Explore Valletta

Europe's smallest capital packs a punch with over 300 monuments within its fortified walls. Wander the narrow streets lined with colorful wooden balconies, visit the breathtaking baroque St. John's Co-Cathedral, and catch sunset views from the Upper Barrakka Gardens overlooking the Grand Harbour.

Blue Lagoon, Comino

This is Malta's crown jewel — impossibly turquoise waters so clear you can see straight to the bottom. Perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or just floating in paradise. Take a boat tour from Sliema or Valletta for the full experience.

Step Back in Time in Mdina

Known as "The Silent City," this ancient walled city was Malta's capital for over 1,000 years. Lose yourself in its medieval streets, visit the stunning cathedral, and enjoy panoramic views of the entire island from its ramparts.

04

Blue Grotto

Take a traditional boat ride through a series of sea caves where sunlight creates magical blue reflections on the limestone walls. Located on Malta's southern coast near the fishing village of Żurrieq.

The Three Cities

Vittoriosa, Senglea, and Cospicua — these historic harbour cities predate Valletta and offer a glimpse into Malta's maritime heritage. Explore Fort St. Angelo, wander the narrow alleys, and dine waterfront with views of the Grand Harbour.

Beach Days

Golden Bay, Għajn Tuffieħa Bay, and St. Peter's Pool — a natural swimming pool perfect for cliff diving — are just a few of Malta's stunning coastal spots. June is peak season, so pack your swimsuit and a good book.

Food & Wine

Don't miss trying traditional Maltese dishes like pastizzi (flaky pastries), rabbit stew, and fresh seafood at the Marsaxlokk fish market. The local wine scene is fantastic too — be sure to try a glass of Maltese Gellewża.
